Introduction to Basic Research Skills for Dramatherapists – a BADth CPD day, Date to be confirmed - in Central London with Holly Dwyer Hall.
This Introductory workshop will be a mixture of teaching, small group discussion and practical exercises introducing a range of basic research skills for Dramatherapists. The day will be of relevance for those interested in understanding more about how to go about conducting research or for those who wish to develop their confidence in reading and understanding research. The day aims to offer a stimulating and engaging look at our attitudes and perceptions of research as we begin to identify the skills required to engage in research activities related to our practice and profession. Participants will be introduced to a range of basic research skills and will leave the workshop with a clear plan on how to proceed with their research related interests. This will include having knowledge on how to access further online learning to develop research skills and ideas. Some prior reading is required before attending and is likely to take between 4-6 hours.
